Overview
Zall-Bastar is located about 18 km away from the capital city, in a rugged mountainous region, and it is composed of 12 villages.
The hilly-mountainous territory provides a picturesque landscape. The villages and their neighbourhoods are distinguished on the hill slopes until up on the mountains, lined with several escarpments.
The area has an overall surface of 132 km2. Out of the overall surface, 785 ha are agricultural land and 4500 ha are woods and pastures.
This area has been inhabited since the VI century and the economic activity of the inhabitants is based on agriculture, arboriculture and trading.
